Hopes fulfilled: Mario Farnbacher has achieved his goal of reaching the Top 15 after his second participation in the Nürburgring 24h. In a nerve-racking race, dominated by difficult conditions, Farnbacher brought home a fifteenth place and captured the victory in the highly competitive SP7 class.

Ready for Nürburgring 24h

Mario Farnbacher is eagerly anticipating the start of this year’s “ADAC Zurich 24h Race”. Europe’s biggest car race sees the 24-year-old driving a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup for the Black Falcon Team TMD Friction. Farnbacher is taking part in the Eifel endurance classic for the second time and is aiming for a class victory.

Class victory as a birthdays present

At the third round of the VLN Endurance Championship Mario Farnbacher had even two reasons to celebrate: At his 24th birthday the German together with his brother Dominik claimed the victory in the SPX-Class of the race. In the overall classification the two brothers covered 13th position in the strong field of 160 cars.

Prestigious victory in Laguna Seca

The third race of the American sports car championship brought home a historical win for Mario Farnbacher. He and his teammate Alex Riberas celebrated a brilliant start-finish-victory in Laguna Seca, California. The triumph was also the first race victory for the newly developed Porsche 911 GT3 R.
